This ride gets an 8 because the launch is unbelievable. The train propels forward in a blur until you find yourself on the top hat. How did I get here? Then you plummet down a nice drop, very forceful from the back seat, and into a few decent turns. Watch out for that brake run! Its a gut buster if you have your arms up when it hits. This ride loses a few points for not having a full course after the top hat, and the brake run being so nasty.

Thanks for the tip on the brake run, it really helped me remember to brace before it. I can relate to the "how did I get here" feeling. You dont notice how fast you went up that hill until you look down from the top.

Ive ridden Dragster and Ka since writing this review. I really think this ride holds its own against those two behemoths, and actually winds up whipping them. That launch! Having it tear out of the station like that is a great design feature, it really amps up the fear of those waiting in the station.

I agree on the launch. I rode this thing 6 times two weeks ago and really loved it. I still like TTD better but this is a much better ride than KK (hi Karate....lol). I didnt like KKs theme or restraint system.

I barely paid any mind to that $25 million worth of ugly green steel and cheap thrills (aka Hai Karate) when I was at Great Adventure. It was just a quick stopover for us while we were waiting for them to get El Toro up and running.
