The Technic Coaster is similar to most other standard Mack wild mouse coasters, but theres one main difference, as most of the previous reviewers have noted. There is an uncharacteristically large drop that begins the ride. It takes you from the top of the lift hill all the way to the ground. The cars momentum carries it back up to just about the starting height, where the ride then becomes a standard wild mouse. Thats not a complaint, as I do enjoy a good wild mouse ride. This one was a bit too dependent on trim breaks, which took away some from the tipping-over-the-edge feeling. And the drops that ended the ride were probably smaller than normal. However, I do have to give credit to any wild mouse with a 50-foot drop. Add that to the fact that this is one of the few rides at Legoland that could lure in an adult, while at the same time being suitable (and probably very thrilling) to an older child, and you have one of the parks top attractions.
