This was one of the highlights of my Legoland visit. The ride consists of eight separate arms sticking out of a moat. On each arm are two seats. The arms move around in various positions at various speeds, carrying the passengers in the seats with them. What makes the ride work so well at this park is that the intensity level can be programmed specifically for the riders. Little kids can ride level one, older kids can work their way up through levels two, three, and four, and then there is level five for the adults. Each arm is therefore potentially doing something different. I rode the first time with the child in my group, so I was forced to ride the level one program. It was pretty calm, and even quite tame for the young one. The seats tilted back ever so slightly and slowly spun around in a few circles. I then rerode solo, and I went to the opposite extreme, level five. This seemed on par with astronaut training. It spun, flung, and inverted riders in the most insane ways. Circling around and around while upside down followed immediately by an extreme rocking chair manuever is certainly an interesting sensation. All in all, it looked worse than it actually was, but it was definitely intense. Its a nice thrill ride addition for the adults who are itching for more excitement than most of the kid-oriented attractions at Legoland provide, but at the same time its great that the kids are not excluded. Theres also a really awesome-looking Lego dragon at the entrance to the ride.
