Review of Kite Flyer @ Playland Amusement Park

The Kite Flyer at Rye Playland was the first Zamperla Kite Flyer I have been on and it was a fun ride. Located near the back of the park off to the right, the Kite Flyer sits near the Playland Plunge. Near the Kite Flyer are a bunch of trees and the Atlantic Ocean. The Kite Flyer doesnt look that intense and looks family friendly because it is. With a good capacity for Rye Playland, the Kite Flyer generally is a walk-on. Laying down in a flying position in 2-rider cars, you have a cage lowered above you to restrain you. Once the ride begins, you spin around gradually increasing speed getting a good breeze from the ocean. When the Kite Flyer reaches its maximum speed, the ride tilts and you ride around in a circle bobbing up and down. Its a great sensation that riders of all ages can enjoy. You also get a long ride cycle. I recommend the Kite Flyer to anyone who would want to ride in a flying position around in circles. A great family ride and wouldnt mind seeing more built.
