APPEARANCE: Zombie Castle looked great from the outside as the facade looked much better than the standard carnival fun house. Also, the cars were very nice as they were wooden, as opposed to the traditional fiberglass cars.
WAIT TIME: Walk On- I have never seen a line for this at all so it therefore is a walk on. The operator dispatches the vehicles pretty quickly which is certainly nice.
RIDE: Zombie Castle was lackluster to say the least. I found the rides props and scenes to be almost identical to the ones used at a haunted house at a local carnival, which certainly arent very good (they are just bloody people and monsters lacking variety). Also, the scenes timing was way off when I have ridden this as the scenes triggered a few seconds too early and ruined the scenes effect. Zombie Castle also was overly loud in my opinion.
FINAL VERDICT: Though its nice to ride a dark ride, this is a poor example of one in my opinion. The already poor stunts combined with horrible timing completely ruined my experience on this. Fans of dark rides should certainly give this a shot, but just dont expect too much.
