Review of Desperado @ Bufallo Bills Hotel Casino

Desperado was the main reason to pull off the road on the way to Vegas, and it was worth it. The ride is pretty damn good - full of intensity and some pretty hard-edged airtime. The first drop is really cool, down 200+ feet into the tunnel along with some serious Gs not found on newer hypers. The bunny hops before the mid-course provided some pretty strong and almost painful airtime, and the helix through the fake mountain was pretty neat as well. We rode four times, three in the back which were great, and one up front in which our kidneys begged for mercy, especially on the turn into the mid-course. Oddly enough, while most folks have to wait for the minimum number of riders, we just had to wait 2-3 trains at some points of the evening. A great ride, better than Magnum or Steel Force in my mind.

hm, interesting. so much variety to the opinions on this one. i drove past it last year, but i was en route from utah to LA and my woman was grumpy in the car so no arrow hypercoasters for hrry! it is a surreal and wonderful site in the middle of nowhere, for sure. also in photos the trains look very cool and strange. why do you think the opinions vary so much on this coaster? i love magnum.

I think its the modern riders general distaste for an edgy ride, as it may be too rough for many -- the one ride approaching my tolerance threshhold, and to think, my riding partner said it was the best he has seen it run in at least five years. Thank you B&M.
