 Review of Pippen/Thunderbolt @ Kennywood

The T-Bolt is my favorite coaster. It was my 3rd coaster (not counting kiddie coasters), and I immediately loved it. The best part in my opinion is the first drop. As soon as the operaters start the ride, youre goin down into a ravine. The helix is great, (Im a big fan of helixes) and the use of Pittsburghs natural terrain is great. Pittsburgh is not the greatest place, but Kennywood doesnt even feel like Pittsburgh (more like heaven )

Solid review D3ath Cab. When I went to Kennywood two years ago, I loved the Thunderbolt too. The best part of Thunderbolt was obviously the 90 foot final drop down the ravine before heading to the station. It definitely has a great use of terrain & despite the short track layout, the speed & airtime you get makes up more than enough for it. The first drop was nice too since it was such a huge drop coming out from the station. The double helix was very intense too & its a good thang that you need a partner to ride with because you can easily fly out of the coaster while going through the double helix. Thunderbolts my 2nd favorite coaster at KW (only behind Phantoms Revenge).

Awesome review man...Thunderbolt is one of those rides that I consider "perfect" Ridiculously awesome coaster for its history, unique layout, and setting. It just doesnt get much better for me! But whats this about Pittsburgh not being the greatest place!??!? Oh well, I guess thats just the Pittsburgh-er in me that makes me love that place so much. GO STEELERS
