I dont think this show was that big of an improvement over the Wild West Show. The show involved doing some "fear" inducing, but very controlled stunts with just about no danger involved. The contestants were park guests playing for 4 free park tickets. There was some recycled material from past Universal shows involved (like the building front collapsing from the wild west show (which was actually taken from a Buster Keaton movie) and the bugs on the head bit which was taken from the Directors show at Halloween Horror Nights 2003). I also absolutly do not believe that the bit that involved forcing park guests to eat a smoothy made from rotten milk, rotten meat, bugs, and other nasty stuff was real. The mealworms I believe since they are harmless, but a theme park could not possibly feed people rotten meat or milk. It was probably milk with jello in it, plus the power of suggestion.
It looks like when Fear Factor gets taken off the air, it would be almost zero downtime to remove some fear factor signs and to take up the paved signs to return to the Wild West Show.
I dont really like Fear Factor on TV that much, and this didnt make me like it any better.
