Review of 1001 Nachts @ Knoebels

Far better than the one at BGW, this ride is especially good at night cause if you look to the side, you can see all the lights and you could barely see the dude next to you. It also gives a great weightlessness feeling. The name is a bit stupid. What does 1001 knights (or nights) have to do with a flat ride like this? Give it a cooler name, like Comet or Vomit. Well, I still like the ride. Try it if the lines arent bad. What company built the ride?

It was built by Weber Rides. And duh, its called 1001 Nacht because it is flying carpet-themed.

Oh, is this one of those older Huss "Rainbow" knockoffs? I remember Moreys Piers in Wildwood, NJ used to have a great Weber 1001 Nachts. Too bad these types arent around as much anymore.

Yes, this is a Weber Machinenbau attraction from Germany. I believe they are no longer around as their major competitor from Bremen, Germany, Huss Machinenfabrik contributed to their demise. I also am about 60% sure that this particular attraction was purchased from Cumberland Valley Shows, OK. I believe the Ocean City, MD Boardwalk used to have one as well.

Yeah it is from Cumberland Valley Shows from Tulsa OK. Knoebels website always has that stuff on their website, and that is the case on this ride too.
