Knoebels Grand Carousel is a marvel and by far the best carousel I have ever been on. Located in the middle of the park surrounded by trees, the Grand Carousel sits in a wonderful pavilion. Because of its high capacity, the Grand Carousel is generally a walk-on. Wait for the outside horses because they are the ones where you can lean out and grab rings. There are many horses and they are all beautiful and hand-crafted. Also, their band organ is flawless and the best one I have ever heard on a carousel. Once the ride began, you got a long ride. The outside horses dont go up and down because you instead can lean out and try grabbing rings. The chance to grab the brass ring was fun because it gave you a fun challenge during the ride. At the end of the ride you can throw brass rings into a lions mouth as you ride by. Its a fun opportunity and it can be tough because the carousel is still rotating as you throw them usually. Overall, this is the best carousel I have ever been on. I highly recommend this ride for everyone, especially carousel lovers. However, I do recommend children riding on the inside horses, instead of the outside ones because the inside ones go up and down.
