If I were to have ridden this only once I would have given it an 8. The reason is because it gets so much better as the day goes on. Make sure you ride it at night, its an amazing experience.

The ride itsself is amazing. Almost nothing is banked which provides some really intense laterals, and the airtime hills are amazing. It is all floater air so you dont get painfully ripped out of your seat. The speed of the ride just never lets up either. There are no trims, or anyhting. I think the best part of the ride is the turn when you go by the skyride, to go back to the station, it seems like you just keep accelerating. This is one of the few coasters that I think are actually better in the front seat. Absolutely Amazing.

You know what? If I had only ridden it once, I would have given it an 8 too. I walked off so disappointed after that first ride. Im not saying that an 8 would have been bad, but bad for the standards that it had been put on. It really does get better and better, and I was only there for a few hours of the day. I cant imagine what it gets like later on.

Well, the day I went the park closed at 8, but they were constantly operating two trains so the track warmed up, and stayed warm. Greatese woodie Iv ever been on.

Normaly they are open till 10 in July at least on weekends. they do run on very short days.

I like it best in October during the Graveyard cuz its REALLY dark and you cant see 5 feet in front of you. Its an insane experience

Not to mention they somtimes have eyes in the trees at the top of the lift.

I havent noticed those. They used to have strobes on the lift hill but did away with those a few years ago.

All the way back to the entrance sign. at one point it was headign down the hill towards the exit. Jerry mentioned that he had never seen the park that buisy even doring the summer.

Oh, wow thats unfortunate. How crowded would you think is an average weekend is? I want to go on September 10 for Oc-Boulder-fest, and I want to get an idea for how crowded it will be. Last time I went, which was my first time, it was during the week and evreyhting was pretty much a walk on.

When I went a few weeks ago for the ACE day(SEE TRip Report) it was moderatly buisy but not bad. and the picnic area was full. I wouldnt expect a september weekend to be that bad.

Except for memorial day septembers usually not too bad. During October though try to go on a Friday instead of a weekend cuz the park gets CRAZAY. The wait for BD can exceed half an hour
