Review of Kiddie Coaster @ Lake Compounce

Many of the kiddie coasters I liked as a kid, I hate now as an adult. However, this is one of the rare kiddie coasters I disliked as a kid! Well, the coaster honestly doesn’t look the best as with all Molina kiddie coasters in my opinion. All of their coasters just seem to look run down because of their age and rusty appearance. Anyway, the train does look nice since it seems to have just gotten a fresh coat of paint. Generally lines for this kiddie coaster are one cycle. However, I personally don’t find it worth the wait at all.

Now I haven’t ridden this in over ten years, but as a kid, I just remember it being pretty bumpy and more of a back massage than a roller coaster. I do remember getting multiple laps on it though, but the ride itself just wasn’t all that fun, as it consisted of a series of bumpy bunny hills that lacked any air or thrills at all. Heck, even if this was smooth, it still would be one of the poorer kiddie coasters I’ve been on. But the ultimate sign that you know a coaster is bad is the ride ending being your favorite part, and guess what my favorite part of this coaster is? Yeah, it really is that bad.

Lake Compounce simply is home to one of the poorest kiddie coasters I’ve ever ridden. Thanks to the incredibly bumpy ride it provides and the lack of any real entertainment, this simply is something not worth wasting your time on at the park, unless you’re absolutely crazy about getting the credit. I mean, kids love this as they do with any kiddie coaster since they seem immune to the beating kiddie coasters dish out, but as for adults, well, that’s a different story.
