Review of Canobie Express Steam Train @ Canobie Lake Park
1 Rating Posted by: Canobie Coaster on 7/26/2005 4:35:00 PM
APPEARANCE: While not an older, classic train, Canobie keeps their train in great shape and it looks decent as well. The stations, or lack there of in the case of the one on the far side of the park, are pretty poor though.

WAIT TIME: Walk On- Well, the train holds a lot of people and therefore you can get on right away when the train comes. However, that can take a while since the train travels very slowly and they only have one.

RIDE: I really like the views during the ride of various attractions and the lake, but it is quicker walking across the park. The course is very slow though, and unlike other trains, this one doesnt travel in a loop around the park. Instead the train just turns around at the stations and repeats the same course, just in the opposite direction.

FINAL VERDICT: The views that are provided during the train are great and its definitely better than walking if the train is at the station when Im there.

Though ther eisnt a full covered station there is a waitign area for the train. more of a mid run station then a full station building. I think part of the reson for not havign a buildign is do to the fireworks being in that area.

Actually they dont. Tehy host shows but they dont promot them. look around at the signes you see that they are somth ing like Jam fest of Cuntry fun. normaly put together by local radio stations. many of these were held in the Weaster Arena a few years ago.
