 Review of Compounce Mountain Sky Ride @ Lake Compounce

I am sad to say that I did not enjoy the Chairlift as much as others did. Yes, it was a fun ride with breathtaking views, but thats about it. It was also very long and relaxing, with a good dosage of breezes on the way up, but having been a skier since I was a toddler, its sort of the same old thing. I enjoyed it, and it gave me a chance to see some awesome views and relax, but I cant find myself justifying anything more than an 8 in my mind.

Dont be sad, an "8" is a good score. However, it seems a little odd that a ride that is "fun," with "breathtaking" and "awesome" views, and is "very long and relaxing," doesnt warrent a 9.

Ill try to explain it: Ive been up hundreds of lifts over my lifetime, so it wasnt anything new or overly exciting to me. Most ski lifts give awesome views as it is, so I thought an 8 (which as you said is a good score) would do. Its a nice change of pace in a bustling amusement park, but I just canme up with an 8 which I thought was fair.
