Review of Rotor @ Lake Compounce
1 Rating Posted by: papa1958 on 7/25/2005 6:19:00 PM
This Rotor is a decent ride. It looks good from a distance, the location is good, the floor drops a long way, and it works (you do stick to the wall). The critics of this ride havent been on a truly bad Rotor, like the former Taz Twister at SF Great Adventure, where the floor drops 4 inches instead of two feet, or the now defunct model in the Lost Continent at Kings Dominion where the cave temperature rarely dipped below 90 degrees.

An update from ibluv might get the The Rotor off this sites bottom 10. Give it another chance.

Good to hear. any plans to Hit Canobie this year? Are you on the Lake Compounce.org site?

I go to New Hampshire just about every year (I have family that live there) so I probably will end up hitting Canobie again. Ive been on LC.org fo awhile, under the same screenname.

I wasnt sure if that was you. I have allot of trouble with LC.org and my browser. You may want to wait for the new ride. But then I dont think you are a bid fan of the Huss Frisbees.

Thats right. Idve rather seen them get a Topspin-type ride, but thats not gonna stop me from checking out the park if Im in the area.

Hopefully another year. Have you beenon one of the Inveter Topspins? they look good and the slightly deforent ride woudl be good for canobie.

Ive been on several different ones, but if they get one, hopefully it wont be the same model that was at the Big-E the other year. I forget what kind it was, but it twisted as well as flipped, but the restraint system sucked, and I came so close to falling out for real.
