This is a terrific ride. We had the opportunity to ride in the top row which I understand is the best place to ride. Without spoiling the surprise there are times that I actually reacted as though I was soaring. This ride is better as a Fastpass the standby line was 2 hrs in May.

I was really disappointed when I found out that it would not feature a video from Florida. It did not seem like something that Disney would do. I really hope that they come up with something different like that.

Herc, at least Disney didnt just clone the rides like SF does, and try to make them seem original. Disney put a whole marketing scheme behind there cloning of rides, while I still dont believe cloning is good - at least they put effort into it! LOL

What they are doing is using the EXACT attractions as they appear in their particular parks. As tacoking indicated it is a marketing plan to celebrate 50 yrs of Disneyland at WDW. I have some family who work for WDW and there is an indication the attraction will stay after the celebration but it is not certain what form it will take. It is an awesome ride but my suggestion is try to get in the top row, no feet above you and you get immersed into the screen

I was there in mid-May and the line was nearly three hours without any Fastpasses left. Looked like a fun ride though.

I believe they are going to shoot a new video, but nothing was ever said about it being over Florida. There isnt a whole lot of variety in the Florida topography like California, and you already fly over the beach and orange groves in that video anyway! At Epcot, it would make more sense to have Soarin over the World being that the World Showcase is a major staple of Epcot. I would bet on that, and it would be awesome.
