Review of Corkscrew Hill @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg

This hasnt always been called Corkcrew Hill. Many years ago when it was first built, this was called Questor. It was a thrilling, ground breaking simulator ride that had people talking. Over the years, it got boring and ridership fell off. It closed for a year and re-emerged as King Arthurs Challenge. That was a total flop. It is was really cheesy and everyone hated it. Busch then changed the area of the park into Ireland and they had a new version of the simulator ride, Corkscrew Hill. This is by far the best version. It has some good computer effects and a simple easy to follow story line that turns you into leprauchan size. You will face witches, monsters and ride horses. It is a little rough and intense for the small thrill seekers. Even some adults will find this ride bumps you around rather hard. But is has some rather scary moments and some cool sequences of falling and flying. I dont want to give away too much, becuase a ride like this has more effect when experienced for the first time, when everything is a surprise. With new technologies incorporated in rides like Spiderman and DarKastle, this will seem kind of old school but it still packs a decent punch and is a very fun ride.
