 Review of Calico Mine Ride @ Knotts Berry Farm

This is the most BORING ride ever created in hisory! the moving people in the mountain u go through r extremely fake and cheap; u can actually hear the gears moving inside the characters if u listen close enough! the only reason i went on this ride was because i thought going inside the mountain would kool after a hot day. not worth ANY wait!

I agree... you cant find a ride like this anywhere else. its original and a nice change from hyper coasters and rides with 10 inversions... nice job on the disigners part...

Some things are not meant for "excitement".This ride was built back in the 60s,pre computer design.Bud Hurlbut was a GENIUS!I worked on the ride for a few years in the early 80s. (the reason you hear the "miners":each one was hand built by some guy who used whatever parts he had laying around.You would be amazed how long they have lasted if you saw the mechanism.Relax,look around,get out of the sun. This ride is CLASSIC.
