Better than average coaster, but nothing special. Used to be fairly smooth, but now suffers a lot of headbanging, which took the rating down considerably.

Is this coaster the same design as the one that previously resided in Six Flags Great Adventure? I know that extremem headbanging and back/neck pain were big concerns on that coaster so I am wondering if there is a deging correlation between the two coasters.

I will tell you right now, NO. The Viper at Great Adventure was a TERRIBLE togo ride.....Darien Lakes is a classic Arrow....and it is bigger, has way more inversions, and of course way smoother.....and over a decade older which just shows how crappy togo rides are....
