Review of High Speed Thrill Coaster @ Knoebels

This ride actually gave me a whole lot more than what I had expected of it. I was a little hesitant to use my tickets on this one. I was with my little cousin, so I asked him if he wanted to ride this rust little contraption. He said yes and we walked right on. Wow, was I surprised. It is one of those great surprises that you find at parks like Knoebels. It is like a hidden treasure. It was fast and actually more thrilling than what Whirlwind was. It may be old and it may be small and it may be rusty, but it is definately something that should not be passed up. It was definately fun and brought out the little kid in me. You absolutely blaze past the station, well, a lot faster than what I thought that we would go, but still. It is just something that you have to experience when at Knoebels. It just screams what the park is about. The only thing is, it really needs a paint job. It is just getting really bad. Usually I dont mind a little golden oldies look, but it is just getting pretty bad.

Anything is better then whirlwind. I once fell down the stairs and that was more thrilling and less painful then whirlwind. I do agree paint it, but at least you had a funner ride then I but I will also try it again, since yours is another opinion I respect.

It really was a good time, I was surprised. My little cousin and I had a ball on it. I felt a lot more comfertable taking him on that then Whirlwind also. Not only was it a lame ride in the first place, I thought that he was going to fall out of the restraints. He was a little guy back then (maybe 9 years old and really skinny, but tall enough to ride) and he was sliding and hopping in his seat like nothing. We had a lot more fun on this one and on Twister, but he didnt like Pheonix that much better he thought it was too rough.

At that size your cousin probably also thought that double down(hill) was probably going to launch him to the moon. The couple coaster I experienced before my growth spurt were frightening experiences and kept me off certain rides for a long time.

only at Knoebels. If you ride with your hands up you really get an incredibly wild ride. My 8 year old niece loves this also.

That is the crazy thing coaster05, my cousin was having a blast as I was having a stroke. Now, he is absolutely hooked to insane rides, especially roller coasters. I am actually taking him to Coaster Madness at Dorney this year and he cant wait to get ERT on Steel Force in the morning. It is definately going to be a great day. I am thinking about taking him to the Coaster Celebration at Great Adventure too. He is wild enough to get onto Kingda Ka and Im pretty sure he is definately tall enough now being that he is 12. I asked my other little cousin if he wanted to go to Coaster Madness and was like yeah, and all excited. Then I told him what it is, and he ran away and said he wasnt going. He is a wuss compared to his brother.
