Review of Halfpipe @ Six Flags Elitch Gardens

One of the best rides at SFEG. Halfpipe is a great coaster. There is plenty of airtime, and you get a very long ride. The spinning sections can be a bit disorienting... The launch is really lame. 0-45 in 5 seconds. Lines for halfpipe can get huge thanks to the low capacity. Ride this in the morning.

I too wondered why it had OTSRs, but then again, its Six Flags. Maybe they could used those un-obtrusive restraints like on the Maurer Sohne X-Car coasters that are coming about.

elitchs sucks. its a huge rip off for forty bucks! twister gets you sick. the flying coaster leaves you sick and covered in bruses. i dident ride sidewinde or half pipe or boomerang but the only two rides of HIGH quality there are mind eraser and the boat ride where you take that huge drop and you get soakted

I didnt think I would ever hear the words Mind Eraser and high quality in the same sentence.

I found sidewinder to be the best ride in the park. Not at first because I thought it was to short but it was definently something that you should have hit B&M when at the park.
