The Scandia Screamer was built by Miler, the company that brings temporary coasters to fairs. The Screamer has a very similar set-up to these coasters, with the drops and unbanked turns, except that it is quite a bit larger and longer. This coaster is actually quite an impressive sight as you drive by this family fun center on the 15 freeway. The Scandia Screamer is a triple out-and-back coaster, with the first circuit-and-a-half being rather large drops. The last half of the ride involves smaller rabbit hops that actually give decent airtime. The initial climb up the lift hill and the turn around at the top before the first drop are very rickety and extremely slow, which give the impression of a pretty lame ride coming up. It is surprising that the ride is actually as fast, fun, and forceful, without being excessively rough, as it is.
