Review of Boat Tag @ Knoebels

Well since nobody reviewed this yet Ill be the first one. This is pretty fun ride as you shoot rubber balls in these cool tanks in a pool of water that can hold 2 people per tank - one controls the direction of the tank and the other is able to move the upper part of the tank. There is really no point to it but its pretty fun since you get to shoot other tanks!

We used to have something like this at SFOG, back in the now-Gotham section. I remember as a little kiddie I loved to shoot the canons, but I wasnt tall enough to drive the boats. Desperately I drank as much milk as possible in hopes of growing. I waited and waited until I was 60 inches tall, and when I rode it, I was subjected to a serious let down. If you think its worth an 8, thats fine, but I thought that driving the boats was boring (even shooting the canons can get old after a while). I agree more with Larry...

Yes. Me and my friend were playing against my other friends at my birthday. I was the gunner and my friend was the driver. All I can say is my friend let more than one yell of frustration out, as we were right under those torpedo things that explodes water when you shot it, and I was trying to get the one that my other enemies were under, but to no avail. Still pretty fun though, right. I mean, shooting foam balls at each other RULES!!

It got lame quick.. it was fun for like a minute or two, but not very rerideable IMO. What would you have given the ride if it wasnt @ Knoebels? I mean, I am talking to the person who gave Millennium Force a 10 and didnt put it in his top 10, opting instead for Whirlwind, which he gave a 5. Theres no bias there or anything

Well, I put Whirlwind on my top ten because it was the first upside down roller coaster Ive ever ridden. And it depends. Is there any other Boat Tags at any other places?

From a quick search, in addition to the one at Knoebels and the one I mentioned before that used to reside at SFOG, there is one at Moreys Piers, one at Indiana Beach, and Lagoon... it certainly isnt a rare thing, and I still think they are boring..

Ive got to agree, it is kind of boring. I rode it a again that same year and for some reason it just didnt seem as exciting. Especially if you dont have any other friends to do it with.
