Review of Air Crow @ Indiana Beach

Ill be honest, this ride is NOT as high speed or as frenetic as the Kings Island scooters. Snapping is difficult (but possible), definitely easier than "MOST" scooters but not as quick and hard as Knoebels or PKI. However, the coasters, Lake, fence, and wind add a new level to this ride!!! The wind gets your in the air and holding there and youd swear youre going to tag the fence around the platform. Soaring over the water is incredible, makes this ride an actual THRILL for some people to ride. Ill admit, the females in our party were screaming every time we took it up into the air. Ill knock it down a notch for limited (if any) snapping, but it gets full credit from me for being a GREAT and unique ride and a perfection at Indiana Beach! (got to love the design on the scooters too!!)

I agree! One of the best things is thinking that forsure you will hit the fence!! But I also agree they are very hard to snap. But in a year or 2 they might loosen up a bit.

Actually, last time I was at the park, they were EASY to snap ... in fact, it was near impossible not to. I think the wind really plays a factor here. In addition, next year the ride will have slightly shorter cables so it may be run at higher speed.

when the wind was kicking up there were times when my Crow was facing completely backwards and a dramatic shift if the sail position created insane bouncing and snapping of the cable. Like Track and Field records, you have to disqualify it from being the Worlds Best because the snaps are wind aided.
