The best themed ride that I can think of. Not only did they capture the super astronaut feel as you waited in line, but the building itself was fantastic, with its sleek and superior look. The ride itself was done with the same care and concern as its themeing. The storyline is very non original: you, and three others are part of an elite group of astronauts picked to be the first people on Mars. You must work as a team to complete this perolious mission, let alone make it out alive. when you walk through the que line, right before being put into teams, the music in the atmosphere made me feel as if I really was making the perilous journey to Mars. The you are seperated into sub teams, then enter a skinny, circular hallway that surrounds the main attraction. Then the main man comes on and tells you each persons role in the mission (while each person is told their assignment, a light shines on you, which adds a great antisipation factor to the ride!). The you board the "ship" and boy was I surprised; Disney surely outdid themselves. For a place so small, they made the whole cabin as detailed as any atraction out there, with switches and buttons, and the coolest looking simulator screens that has ever been created, they look 3D! Then the ride begins. It is a treat for everybody! The g-forces for the launch was enough to make the weak hearted laugh and cry with excitement. Then you ahve the weightlessness, witch is by far the coolest thing I have ever felt. After you go into hypertsleep (or something like that), you enter Marss atmosphere where you and your team must steer through caverns and rough terrain to finally end up landing within inches of the snowy cliffs edge. One of the most interactive simulators to date, because the commander tells you what to push at certain times, you actually get to push it! I can not review this ride, and give it justice for its incredable expirience! Just ride it, and youll know what I mean !
