This ride is just not as exciting as it could have been. After standing in the flat-out awesome queue, you are treated to a decent ride, but nothing special. Compared to other rides in the Disney/Universal race for technology like Mission: Space and Spiderman, you get off this ride saying "cool ride" rather than "OH MY GOD!!". I did not find the ride jerky, but it is not B&M smooth...certainly not at all bothersome though. It had some fun turns and little drops, but just nothing that made me scream for more. My family was there and none of them were blown away. It just should have been faster and a little more awe-inspiring. The scarabs on the screen looked like, well, scarabs on a screen. The fire on the ceiling was awesome, but thats about it effects wise. After IOA blew everyone away with the most awesome theming, rides, and technology I expected more from Universal. Universal Studios is a family park, and I know that, however I think both Tower of Terror and even Rock n Rollercoaster at MGM are better.
