This is perhaps the most variable of the rides in the park. Thats fine by me. The crew can adapt to suit the needs of the clientele. It also makes it very unpredictable so you never know exactly whats going to happen next. As a videographer I like seeing the ladies long hair dancing in the breeze and responding to the rapid changes in maneuvers.
My first ride on der Twister was a wonderful disaster! All my coins and car keys went flying on the first flip. Then on the finish, the shoulder restraints locked up. I dont think this has ever happened since. Well, the coins are a goner. The car keys were in sight. The main problem was the locked shoulder restraints. The wonderful thing was the professionalism, wit and humor displayed by the crew, and the immediately responding management team, security team, and maintenance team. They turned a potentially scary disaster into an amusing incident. Professionals can do that. If there was ever any one single incident that convinced me to become a lifetime season pass holder at Fiesta Texas, that was it.
