Well, this is a classic woodie that was stripped of its title when steel loopers and the such showed up. This ride has no themeing what-so-ever. It has some great airtime hills and the ride ops will put you in the front if you dont have enough people on the train. And that sucks. It is an original coaster. No cloones unlike Batman - The Ride. This ride has some very comfortable trains an some of the greatest lift hill noises every. Only Windjammer has better noises. The ride has descent speed, nice hills, and some great old fun. No headchoppers what-so-ever. My ratings are, Design - 8, Themeing - 1, Fun Factor - 8, Re-Ride - 7, Intensity - 5, Scare Factor - 2, Originality - 8. The final score is...5.5 which rounded is a 6. a classic woodie does not need themeing. Leave that up to state of the art rides like spiderman that has the most themeing Ive ever seen!

With classics in Mind, do the Mad Mouse rides have tons of theming? No, but people still love to ride them. Only on rides that want to give the rider a feel for a certain period or experience is when theming is involved. The out and back coasters of yesterday dont need theming.

All these coaster groups love the preservation of old coasters, and trust me I bet the parks have made themes on only the ones they want, you do not need theming for a great ride, all theming does is enhance it, and coasters like this dont need it. Its ok Coasterrd. Sorry Togo, it is just kinda wierd you have a signature, anywayz,Togo you gave Mannhatten Express an 8 in theming and I have seen it and it isnt any better than Blue Streak. The wall is painted the Skyline of New York, and it has a name that fits New York. With parks like Cedar Point, it doesnt have to have theming because there is nothing to theme. They just make good rides, and I seriously think you need to get over the theming thing or there are so many wonderful rides you wont be able to enjoy.
