Review of Bizzaro @ Six Flags New England
2 Rating Posted by: BuffMan on 4/22/2004 4:22:00 PM
I havent been getting the best comments on my reviews, so im going to try my hand at a detailed review, so here it goes:

S:ROS has it all. Scheer height, spins, turns, astounding g forces, airtime (the best part of the ride in my opinion).... the list could go on forever! As I entered the park, its 212 foot drop threatened any who dared look at it. but for coaster freaks like me, it draws you towards its smooth bends and curves. The ride was under extreme pressure- I expected alot out of it. As I waited in line for the ride I was reading in on the very.... rather boring...... beginnig building. But when I got to the loading platform (took about 1 1/2 hours) I was amazed. A blue train was there, and on the wall behind it, there was a whole board full of stats for the ride. 212 ft., 80 MPH speed, and a mile long track that offers thrills galore. After I got securely fastened in and the train and started moving, I was awestruck. The Conneticut Lake was looking spectacular (though you need to be on the left to see). The view was cut short as we crested the hill top. Fear struck me as the train seemed to tilt forever, untill I was plunged into a 75* angle drop, and thrusted into a mist-filled tunnel, one of two. And after that, nothing can be recalled. It was a maze of true, coaster delight! Helixes, drops, airtime, it was spectacularly laid out to offer great veiwing perspective. When we halted at the very abrupt braking system, I was sad that the ride had to end, and out of breath, it was that exilerating! When I got off to meet up with my group, I was shaking. Definately a must ride, just because its fun!

Hope you liked my review. please post comments on this review, so I may see how you liked it!
Just a side note: AFTER THE DEATH OF THE MAN ON SUPERMAN, THEY HAVE CHANGED THE RESTRAINTS SO THAT YOUR LEGS ARE LOCKED INTO PLACE. BEWARE, ESPECIALLY MEN, THE GROIN AREA MIGHT BE INFLICTED WITH SOME MAJOR PAIN DUE TO THE RESTRAINT. BUT THE PAIN IS OBLIVIOUS TO YOU DURING THE RIDE. JUST THOUGHT ID WARN FELLOW PARK GOERS...

Thank you for that update. I will most likely return to SFNE this year, and will be prepared.

Looks like they have the same new restaint system as SF America, and that one was painful when employed also but you didnt notice the pain during the ride
