 Review of Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast @ Universal Studios Florida

This ride was a mistake. Universal should have kept the Hanna-Barbara ride instead of replacing it with a Jimmy Neutron ride. Hanna-Barbara characters were a lot more recoginizable to both adults and kids. Now, some kids (who get cable) will know the Nickelodean characters, but many adults dont have the slightest idea who the characters are (especially those who dont get cable).
The story of this ride is almost the same as Hanna-Barberas storyline, but only much more confusing. The animation in the preshow was awful too. It looks like someone made that preshow up in 20 minutes instead of putting work into it. It looks like a bad video game instead of a good cgi movie.
The only improvement over the old ride is the in theatre effects like the fog and the bubbles.
And most people say that the chicken dance was the highlight of the ride. I didnt get how that fit in the story at all.

I hate to break it to you, woofboy, but youre old. LOL Kids today are a lot more familiar with Jimmy Neutron + Spongebob Squarepants than with Yogi Bear + the Jetsons.

Actually, although I havent ridden Jimmy Neutron, I wish they had kept the Hanna-Barbara attraction. Those chracters are classics. In two years, no kid is gonna remember who Jimmy Neutron was.

Im not that old. Not to give out my exact age, but lets just say Im under 20. Im just not a fan of cartoons. I really didnt like the Hanna Barbara ride that much either, but this one is worse.

And still, whats the point of the chicken dance at the end of this ride?

I think that theres something about a chicken dance in the Jimmy Neutron show. I believe thats what I read at IOACentral.
