 Review of Flume @ Knoebels
-2 Rating Posted by: adriahna on 2/10/2004 12:15:00 PM
By far the coolest flume Ive ever been on. It has wonderful surprises - 2 great hills, a really neat, unusual cave, and lots of really splashy curves. It has a wonderful, vintage old-world feel to it, which only adds to the experience. For an added kick, ride this one at night - the woodsy, dimly-lit course is truly unique. Fits beautifully into its environment, as well. Yet another world-class Knoebels treasure.

Knoebels is one of those neat, old parks that Id love to see after a good snow - theres nothing like wooden coasters covered in snow. The effect is fantastic.

I totally agree with you there. One time, I just drove out to Knoebels (I live like a half an hour away) right after one of the years four inchers. Let me tell you it was awesome! We got as far as the Power Surge before they caught us, but we could see the Twister and it was sooooooo cool.

Thumbs up on that one. Wish Id been with you. I used to have a book about Riverview park (a long-defunct park in Chicago), that had some photos of coasters covered in snow...its amazing.

I love the Flume - it goes so fast through the tunnel and surrounding area while most just waddle around and has just the right amount of hills, and is just plain fun! All of the sudden I have the urge to go to Knoebels.
