I saw the movie before going on this ride. I can see why they made a movie out of it. The suprise drop and the cannon fight was awesome. Very nice theming and altogether sweet ride

You cant really base a movie off a ride. Its a hard thing to do, and its really messed up.

Pirates turned out to be a pretty good movie, but Haunted Mansion is a different story.

Pirates was an excellent movie, but I think the only thing similar to the ride and the movie was the main title.

They also did a scene with the dog holding the keys thats right out of the ride... and included the yo ho ho song.
