Review of Incredible Hulk Coaster @ Islands of Adventure
1 Rating Posted by: UC on 11/28/2003 2:26:00 PM
This coaster is one of my favorites, it earns a high spot on my top ten, but the lack of theming keeps it from getting a rating of a ten from me. This ride is incredible, it has a launch that is unexpected to first-time riders, and I have to admit that although I knew the coaster would be launched, I was confused when we started up the tunnel slowly and surprised when we suddenly kicked into high gear and hauled arse out of the tunnel. The Zero-G was incredible, as was the long fall into the Cobra Roll after it. The whole ride just seemed to keep moving, even through the MCBR. It has great elements, great forces, and I rode it 13 times in 2 1/2 days. Staying on the property is a MUST for this park. Your room key acts like an unlimited fastpass. You just show it to the attendant and they let you use the Express lane as many times as you want as often as you want. I rode it 6-7 times in a row, one right after the other, in an hour and 15 minutes. I would get on the ride, get off, show the guy my room key, and get right back to the front of the line again, etc. etc.

I gave Montu a 10 for its ride experience, and I think its great for a B&M Invert.

However, I rated Hulk a 9 because of its ride experience, but I prefer B&M Sit Downs to Inverts so I prefer Montu. I rate ride based on comparison to others in the park and of the same type. So, Montu is my favorate B&M Invert and my favorite ride in the park.

I do that all the time, I will get on the Hulk, then off, etc etc all the time. 13 times in 2.5 days is all? Ive done about 3 times that in 2 days.

Yeah haha I know you were swimace, I was just explaining so you could understand it better thats all.

Tacoking, I go with my family, and my mom isnt a fan of any coaster that goes upside down and my dad cant ride them due to a medical condition, so me and my sis are the only ones who can. Well, shes not a coaster fanatic like i am, so I dont get nearly as many rides in as I would if I was by myself.

My sister lives in Orlando so she picks me up, drops me off at IoA, then picks me up later.

Haha- Universal Express Plus was amazing! You really do get right on the ride. If youre going to IOA, be sure to stay at one of their hotels for this advangtage.
