Review of Test Track @ EPCOT
1 Rating Posted by: UC on 11/28/2003 2:05:00 PM
Okay, now before I begin, I AM NOT rating this ride on how Disney opened it very late, or any other problems the ride had other than the actual ride.
Anyways, Test Track is overrated, but it is still alot of fun. The lines are horrible, so either ride it first thing in the morning or fastpass it (if the fastpass is open, it seems to be off and on). The ride itself I would relate to a moving Star Tours, in terms of it jerks you around but is fun nonetheless. It is very different, so it will be a unique experiance, and the fast stretch is fun, even if I think the speed Disney says you are going is a little bit faster than the facts. Its alot of fun, worth riding once, if not more.

Over advertised is more like it. At WDW there is a lot of advertising for the parks, while there is much less at DL, in my opinion. Also, the reason that the fastpass seems to be going off and on is probably because they close it when they sell a certain amount of them. I like this ride, too. I was surprised when the truck pretended to hit us.

Actually Disneyman, Ure right about the fastpasses in one respect, but I meant on and off every year. I was talking to one of the Engineers at Disney, and he told me that the reason the fastpass system wasnt on for the past few months (This was in like 2000) was because the average wait time for Test Track wasnt over an hour. The fastpass system wasnt activated AT ALL that trip i took. However, it was on last year.

They should make it so that its always working, so that the lines will be even shorter (I consider 50 minutes in line a long line).
