This is an old ride but definetely a lot of fun. The only thing that scared me was the sound of particles falling. What the heck was that? I was looking for what sounded like chunks of the ride coming off but I didnt see them. A little uncomfortable but definetely worth riding.

the sound you hear is sand. they fill the bottom portions with sand to help equal out the weight when there are few people on the ride.

I was told by the owner that that sound is paint chips in the bottom. He said he likes to keep the rides fresh, so he paints them very frequently (moreso than other parks, were talking every other year or every third year) and that is why the chips are in the bottom.
