I rode MF 3 times during Coaster Mania, twice in the very back and once in the very front. It is a great coaster no doubt, but for some reason there just didnt seem to be anything real special that struck me. My favorite part of course is the lift, because it is without a doubt a religious experience, as you get higher you begin to only see water to your side, and in the back the first drop is heaven, some great steel coaster airtime, and the 3rd hill and the 2 other hills give good air, but still I wasnt completely blown away by this ride. Of my 11 park, 70+ coaster trip only one coaster has copmpletely blown me away, and that was Wildfire, which is FUN!. This is fun but when you have to wait at least an hour for any type of ride on it the fun factor definately gets kicked down a few notches. This is an intense ride. Dont get me wrong it is fun, with some decent air (I prefer more forceful) and the overbanks were fun, especially the last one because in the back it feels like you could fall out. CP has the two most overated rides on the golden ticket list. This is great but does not deserve #1 and, magnum is ok but doesnt deserve #3. Good, efficient, and clean park with some good rides.

coaster...you are seriously smoking something. How can you not be blown away by Millenium force front seat? Seriously.

I have no problem with youre rating, but I just wanna know why its not in your top ten.

Millenium Force front seat is amazing. even if you werent impressed by the ride or the wait for it the size and speed of the ride is enough to give you a feeling that lasts a lifetime. Even if you dont think its worth a 10 dont put it down by saying it wasnt impressive. Your opinion though so my thoughts dont count.

Any ride that leaves you picking bugs off your chest is a top 10 ride.

Thats what happened with me too. I rode next to this guy and he said, prepare to get bugs on you. I didnt know what he meant till I had to pick off dead bugs from my shirt.

I just rode MF in the front seat at night on Monday (July 7). I made the fatal error of wearing a white t-shirt on the ride. After noticing the bugs on my arm and my girlfriends cheek, I looked down at my shirt. Polka-dotted black with bugs ... closing in on 100 at first count. We were laughing so hard about it as I pulled into the station, I pointed to my shirt for the ride op who then said "Everyone please left your lap bars, unbuckle your seat belts ... and wash your shirts ... and exit to the right. Thank you for riding Millenium Force." One hell of a ride though.

there was an attack of killer gnats and they were so thick that day when i got off MF I went to brush off my arms and i had handfuls of dead gnats. It was horrible people were covering their faces to avoid eatting them.

no it wasnt the ride that made the gnats come it was the winds off the lake. they were in swarms.

No, Im gonna say the ride. Everyone who rode front had bugs on them.

no it wasnt. the ENTIRE park were covering their faces and mouths because these gnats were in swarms over the entire park. People were eatting them it was so bad you couldnt walk and talk without doing it.

nonono....i was there in June when all these bugs showed up (i have the white shirt to prove it) and these bugs are attracted to lights. so over different parts of the track, there are lights, and the train would fly under them and the passengers would get nailed by the bugs....especially right after the last overbanked turn.

Nope, because its fast, thats why. Notice no one got bugs on them on Blue Streak (near the lake). CUZ ITS NOT FAST!

nono, if you looked at all the lights at night...there would be swarms of bugs underneath them. yes, the fact that its fast adds to the problem...but they are attracted to the lights. there arent tower lights over blue streak....so no bugs

people. these gnats that came that year were over the ENTIRE park on a muggy day and made the sky have black patches at like 6pm. literally.

btw they are attracted to the light and you get hit by them on rides with lights. take it from a 12 year cedar point goer i know!

I was there too! And how do you explain it when I got hit with bugs in the day? Huh? Lights arent on then! And MF has no lights on it.

bugs fly around during the day and ACTUALLY MF does have lights.

MF has lights lining the brake run...which is where most people got hit....and anyways, those bugs fly in HUGE swarms....so it is very possible to get hit by a swarm during the day.

MF does not have lights on the actual coaster train! Face it! You cannot explain it!

Nobody even said that theres lights on the train.

Ok you people need to calm down, I gave it a freaking 9! The reason it is not in my top ten is because it is not a top ten ride to me! I found parts of it horrifying and parts of it really fun but it was not what I sought out in a coaster, I like more airtime,. Dont give me the crap about it has airtime, yes I know it does but I like it more forceful not the parabolic hills that are its 3rd and its 6th hill. It just didnt blow me away, one thing that hurts is having to wait in line for 2 1/2 hours to ride the front, and I realize that that isnt that bad. I love millenium force dont get me wrong, I just am not a MF nut.

xtreme.....nobody ever said there were lights on the actual train. i said about a thousand times that there were lights that lined the track on the brake run, and at different times along the route. you are right, the train doesnt hve any

Alls I can say is this: my brother rode in the front seat of the Blue Streak one summer night, and ended up with a big ol mouthful of bugs - so, indeed, it does happen on the Blue Streak, too...

there ya go xtreme....see, it happens on any ride thats got lights or wherever a swarm of bugs wants to hang out. the speed doesnt matter.

Nope, never got that on SROS in SFA! And believe me, that has plenty of lights!

Cedar point it surrounded by water, youll get bugs. hell my windshield was COVERED tonight driving home from there. If it has lights bugs will come.

I just looked at my grill on my car and it is covered in bugs, my windshield is covered in bugs, AND my sideview mirrors are covered in bugs. bug bug bug. yet i didnt get hit with any on MF at midday...hmmm maybe cause the lights aint on then?

No I definately got hit in the mid-day!

take a bath...maybe the bugs are attracted to that and sweat and stuff. i suggest riding snake river falls...i always ride that b4 MF

This ride is worth a 10. But now, I have a new favorite, TTD. Holy Crap. This ride rocks, and I dont know how you cant be blown away by the view from front seat, or the great feeling in the back. This is my 2nd favorite, and used to be the best until I finally got to Ride TTD front seat, when it rolled back. Yeah so I dont get it either.
