Dragster is amazing and there are no buts about it. I was initially a little disappointed as I watched the construction show that it would be a 30-second ride and the press releases reaffirmed that. I maintained dedication to it, though, and after riding it Ive experienced the greatest thrill of my life despite the length. It doesnt matter how long it is once you are waiting at the starting line, staring at the Dragster lights and anticipating an insurpassable launch as far as greatness is concerned. The top hat is a thrill all the way up as you only see the sky, and the thrill of knowing that occasionally the trains dont clear the hill heightens that (in a good way!). Once the crest is reached, though, you quickly realize how amazing it is to be more than 400 feet into the sky as you feel the air trying to push you out of your seat (despite being stapled in). It feels like forever up there, but before you know it you are plummetting back to earth with an amazing twist and the wind blowing in your face with only the ground and finish line below you. Id like to say I dond think Cedar Point can outdo itself, but I cant as I can only dream of what they have up their sleeves next! 10!
