Update: This coaster is 30 years old as of this writing (2008). It wasn'.t the first coaster I went on, but it was the first one that I recall as being really good. That was back when Nessie (and I) were a lot younger. I went back to BGE recently, and am pleased to report that the old lady is still really good. Good speed, good drops, good scenery, good loops (the interlocking part is still cool), good helix in the dark, good smoothness (great for its age). I'.ve been on bigger, faster, and better coasters since my first encounter with the Monster, but she is still holding up very well. You can go home again.
