 Review of Grizzly River Run @ California Adventure

Okay, let me get this straight... We are at a Disney park, right? Where are the Animatronics? For that matter, where are the trees??? This is supposed to be Northern California, right? We have TREES up here, Disney! Add to the poor theming a short SHORT ride, a long LOOOOOOOOONG lift hill, very few rapids and one fun final element and all this is worth building a mountain that is supposed to look like a bear but looks like a wolf? YAWN!

I agree, the ride is short. The lift hill is long, too, but they try to make that up by shooting water at you. As for there being very few rapids, practically the whole ride was rapids. Example: from the end of the lift hill to the first drop, rapids. From the end of the first drop to the second drop, rapids. And from the end of the second drop to the third drop, rapids. The only place where there isnt any rapids is on the lift hill, and after the third and final drop.

The themeing at the begining I thought was good. There is none on the actual ride but I fell that the rapids and final drop account for little theming. You are so busey trying to stay dry that the scenry will not always be noticible. But I do agree that there is little themeing on the rapids. It does need themeing!

Yeah, it does need a little theming, but not too much. Anyways, what is there that they can put on a ride like that? They definitely wont put animatronics because theyll be ignored by the riders.

Well, I havent been on Popeye, so I wouldnt know that, but when I go on Grizzly River Run, I dont look at the theming on the ride down.
