This is the coolest most awesomest and just the plain best coaster running. The wait is long but the ride makes up for it and more. The first drop is awesome. Ride in the front your first time. It will be worth the extra wait. If you are tall like me, dont ride in the back you will come back in pain. Your legs are thrown around like a rag doll. If your legs are just the right size your calves would hit the bottom of the seat and leave you in pain for a while

I found both the front and back to be smooth - what pain in the back (pun intended) are you talking about?

I just traveled down from Seattle last weekend 7/28/03 to ride this coaster for the first time and found that it was much more rough than I had expected. I sat in the back of the train on the right outside seat and I got tossed around like never before! The first and second drop were by far the most intense thing I have experienced, probably ever, on a coaster. I waited a solid three hours to ride, and "X" did not disappoint. I would have waited again, but I went to the park alone and could not stand the four hour wait that had accumulated. I also would have bought my on-ride photo, but I literally had a "face of pain" in the shot. I look forward to riding it again some day. A positive thrill.

Yeah, X seems to have become rough in the back this year. Hopefully it wont take the same root has other Arrows and become extremely rough.

Thats your guys fault. The butterfly is supposed to be touching your shoulders. If you get a rough ride its your own failure to pull down the restraint far enough.

Even with proper fitting restraints, it was rough.

No its not. Im a regular for MM. And I know. The only rough rides are when your restraint isnt touching your shoulders, because then the ride flings you into them. Its simple physics, if the restraints are touching your shoulders you wont get thrown. It will just be pressure instead of a sudden impact in the flips from a restraint that some moron left a few inches too high. I repeat YOUR FAULT. Its like when a coaster ends. Do you a) sit back and let the brakes come in and hurt you, or b) lean on the restraint so you work with the car and brakes instead of a sudden stop that creates an impact.

The restaints have nothing to do with my head hitting the back of the seat! There is NO RESTRAINT FOR THAT! And I wouldnt want one either. That is strickly design!!!!! Not restraint problems! Plus, THE STAPLER was working on my side of the train the day I was there! I didnt move from my seat! Maybe youre such an expert you could teach a class on how to ride! Or should everyone just automatically have your opinion.

So then you did something even dumber. Everyone knows to put their head back on a looping coaster. Plus the headrest is padded. Have you been on this? Or are you really tall? And if thats the case sucks for you now doesnt it. Rides arent meant for the very tall and fat people and all can piss and moan for all I care.

Actually, the tall thing doesnt have a lot to do with it, it just depends on how tight you strap yourself in... Im over 58" and I was second to back row first time, and I wasnt in any pain.

We have confirmation. b lane s is just complaining to bash the ride.

Yes...I am just wanting to bash the ride!!!! I guess thats what I meant by... "X" did not disappoint. I would have waited again, but...I could not stand the four hour wait that had accumulated... I look forward to riding it again some day. A positive thrill" Look up "positive" and "look forward to riding it again"...
I have more coasters to ride...you are wasting my time!!!!

4 hours. Well you should have gotten there earlier then huh? Now I repeat again, whos fault is that? Your fault you had a long line and didnt adjust the restraints right. Rough my butt. Pysclone is rough. X is perfect.

Sue me. Typing 50+ does have mistakes. Either way you got my point.

Okay let me clear this up. I am 62". My head was FINE. My shoulders were FINE. The restraints worked great. They are possibly the most comfortable ones i ever used. The only part of me that hurt were my legs. Come on toaddy dont diss tall people they can kick your A**.( No offense to the vertically challenged, just toaddy)__________________ _____P.S. Psyclone isnt rough. Go and ride Knotts GhostRider. That is the roughest ride i ever rode.
toaddy on 11/4/2003 4:19:46 PM said:
Being tall doesnt mean they could kick my ass. I out weigh plenty of tall people. And thats in muscle not fat. A lot of tall people have those chicken legs and are way to skinny. Im not that short. Im taller than all the girls I go out with, and thats all that matters. In fact its better because its easier to kiss. Yea what happened to GhostRider? I wasnt this rough a few years ago.
