 Review of Yankee Cannonball, The @ Canobie Lake Park

Unfortunately i dont go to Canobie any more (got bored of the rides) but when it was an annual trip i was always sure to do the Yankee Cannonball a couple times. Best ride in the park (havent done their new tower ride yet though). Its small and simple but the air time on the hills makes it worth riding.

If you havnt riden it in a cople of years you havnt riden it at all. They have compleatly retracked the coaser. it is know faster and mor esmooth they you could ever imagen.

They retracked it..how so? i liked it the way it was..faster may be better but i personally dont think wood coasters should be smooth. I like a coaster that tosses you around.

Tehy put down a 7 bored think runing rail and new steel. the layout is the same. the air time in increased and the turn still gives you that fantastic lat.

ope the layout is the same, just the hight of the rail boards have changed. they now have a compleatly computer driven brack systom to run the hydrolic skids and they will be wuithing over to mags iether this year or in the near futer.
