As far as New Mexico thrill rides are concerned, this is probably one of the best out there. This is not one of the "vomit inducing" rides on the park but still manages to pull off a great thrill. If you want to enjoy the ride even more, jump right as you are starting to break. You will be able to break Carl Lewiss record!

None of the lines at Cliffs are long. The Rattler is the newest and best ride at Cliffs and I have waited no longer then 20 minutes. The wait for the big flush is around 5-10 minutes.

Heh, I dont think Id really consider anything in New Mexico a real big thrill ride, especially when compared to other, bigger parks. I really like the Big Flush though. Its lots of fun. Maybe the new Rattler is more of a thrill though? I havent been over to Cliffs since it opened but I doubt Id ride it since I dont particularly like roller coasters. My litte sisters ridden it 5 times though, LOL. She was part of a summer group that went to Cliffs a few times and she LOVES rides like that.

Like thrill rides or not, THE NEW MEXICO RATTLER must be experienced. Its a great wooden coaster, one of my favs honestly. And, to be honest, its not that thrilling overall, but just lots of fun and high speeds, drops, and g-forces. You get scared climbing & dropping 300+ft on Millenium Force ... you get the felling of having a great ride and a great time on THE NEW MEXICO RATTLER.
