This is now my favorite hyper. It has good speed and loads of floater airtime, though none of the ejector air that I love too. It actually gets bumped down a point because it is in a theme park and has no theming at all. The queue line is very poorly designed and I imagine that people waiting for it in the summer fry in the heat becuase there is no shade at all.

The lack of shade dos strike a nerve in my mind. I also agree that their is a lake of theming. Though is you look the theming has been very lax latly at this park.

I think the idea was they were coming off of the big wrestling thing at the time. The ads for the ride is proff for that. I really think they would have been better off with a superhero or movie theme, as that is the theme in that part af the park. You are right though, theming has become very lax in the park over the last few years.

Hey, Batman: The Ride has some of the best themeing in the park. The park, the wrecked police car, and the sewage drain you enter with the dripping sounds was great when it was built. Too bad they dont mantain the theming objects. Chillers themeing is pretty lame though, and the queue line is also a scourcher in the summer.

That is probably all they have the liecensing for. Or possibly they believe that the general public would not understand a ride named after another DC superhero, like Hawkman or Green Lantern?


BTW, can you look at my question on the Trip Reports board, I was thinking of going to SFA and had some questions about the park.

Thou Nitro I herd ws saposed to be Nitro_Gliseren as in an explosion. but still out of place.

Cedar Fair- Peanuts Characters.
Six Flags- DC Comics Characters (Batman/ Superman, but i would like to see a Green lantern or Scarecrow coaster).
Disney- (isnt it obvious?).
Paramount- Top Gun, Outer Limits.
Universal- Marvel Comics Characters, Dr. Seuss, Jurrassic Park, Popeye, Dudley Do-Right.

And no Im not reading any other posts other than those in Rant and Raves. And yes- Cedar Fair seems to be one of the top park owners in the country. All their parks are very clean and the experience there is great.

Well XtremeFan8, if you actually did bother to read any of the posts on the other boards you would know that I actually put Cedar Fair in very high regard, it is still a corperation, and not as good as the smaller parks, but tends to be one of the better corperations with SF right at the bottom. You should spend a little more time in the other boards before you make generalizations.

But yes, you can do whatever you want, but you should expand your horizons just a little. Just a few weeks ago you were complaing about how no one was posting about coasters in the Rants board, yet you never bother to read the COASTER DISSCUSION BOARD where all of that talk is going on. Is it so that you can curse someone off that doesnt agree with you? Is that why you only read and post on the rants board? Try being a little more productive, rather then constantly complaining about this or that.
