 Review of Loch Ness Monster @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg

I have been riding Nessie since my childhood. Even to this day, I still drag my wife to it. Best ridden at night, but it is still smooth, speedy and the underground helix will always take my breath away. The only critique I can give is that somehow the designers could have figured a way to preserve some momentum so that a second chain lift wasnt neccesary.

On Nessie, there are trims that slow it down so that the second lift is needed. The one train has to buy time so that when Nessie runs 3 trains, 2 go through the loop at the same time.

It doesnt really bother me. It just adds to the anticipation of the ending (which I think is one of the best).
