WHAT A HORRIBLE RIDE! Its father (The Beast) rules the park but its son aught to be disowned! This is the roughest thing you have ever ridden in your life, and I dont know if theyve fixed this, but the chain lift was like someone taking a blowhorn, putting it next to your ear, and screaming in it. I couldnt even hear my riding partner and hes right next to me. Plus, the loop wasnt all that. Standard is the only thing I can say for it. This was a total disapointment! Three hours + for absoulutly nothing. DONT RIDE THIS DISSAPOINTMENT! ITS NOT WORTH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY OR TIME!

just to let you know, they smoothed out the ride during the off-season of 2000 and it was running better than ever in 2001.....so if you ever get back to pki give it another chance. Ill be doing the same when i travel up to CP this summer to give MF another shot.

I heard they had smoothed it out a lot. Maybe it is better now but the time i rode SOB, it was a disaster (as you see)!

They did smooth it out, look at my new post because they made it one of the smoothest woodies Ive ever ridden. Yeah, it did suck, but trust me, it got better!

yeah i gave u a bad review cause your review is not legit. This ride is way better than a one. The loop is a 118 feet high plus you have lap bars on while your going through it and all you can say is its standerd?? Plus u havent been on it since 2000, and the ride was smoothed out in 2001 and they also worked on it a bit befor this season. So since u have not been on it since 2000 u have have no argument. So stop putting the ride down and go ride it again.

Its not a long name for a roller coaster like "Superman: Ride of Steel" or "The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman". Son of Beast is a short name, so stop abbreviating it with a stupid abbreviation that stands for a rude word!

Meh, nothing to worry about. The usage of SOB probably comes from covering the topic in discussion threads - force of habit. Around here, we abbreviate a lot of multiple-word coaster and park names. Maybe were just lazy, but thats just how we do things. No big deal. By the way, welcome to the site.
