One of the best locations for a fair type of coaster ever. APPEARANCE-4 The ride looks clean but this is all for the fantastic view of the water. The main reason I rode it twice was just for the great view and breeze you get coming from the water. CAPACITY-3 Quick track and decent job getting you out. RIDE QUALITY-2 Not much to look forward two. Not rough, but doesn't really do much either. FUN-2 I spent most the ride talking about the view, so not a ton of fun. RERIDE-2 Definately the best coaster at this park, but save your money for Stiltwalk if you want the best attraction available. OVERALL-13 AVG-2.6 I am going with the 2 since the view was the only part I really liked.

This was a very fun and cool little coaster. Both of the first two drops provided some great ejector air and the smaller hills provided some decent air time too. The hairpin turns were nice, but quite a few of them were a bit rough. I also really liked the views of the ocean on this one.

I think this is the ride I rode, I dont know, the sign was off the ride and not in any way indicitive of the name. Anyways, the ride was pretty cool I guess, I thought of it as a big kids flitzer. Some nice drops, sweet cars, right on the edge of the pier.. the makings of a classic seaside coaster. Add in the fact that it wasnt rough and the decent thrills on the drops, and youve got an ok ride.

The highlight of this obscure little coaster has got to be the view..looking to your left after cresting the lift, you feel a sense of freedom, like you are a pelican in the middle of the ocean. It's simply mesmerizing. The rest of the ride is...meh. Following the steep first drop is a rather bland layout, with small drops and pretty tight turns. There are one or two surprise periods of weightlessness, but not much else. So overall, maybe sacrifice a few tickets for a quick ride on this metal thing, at least for the view.

Good. Great drop, OK ride. The lift is great because you see the beach and the positioning of it right by the water makes up for the OK ride.

To paraphrase Charlton Heston: They tore it down! The bastards tore it down! And now, on the sacred ground once occupied by the incomparable Jet Star, we have this...this...spindly boondoggle. I mean, I guess its okay and all, but by God its no Jet Star, and it doesnt deserve the same two syllables in its name. While its true that 92% of Casino Piers patrons are stoned out of their gourds on any given summer night, they still know their Jet Star from their Star Jet! But I digress... Lets see, the Star Jet. The best parts of the ride are those cribbed directly from the Jet Star: a rickety lift, a brief tour de mer, and a surprisingly intense first drop. The rest is sort of a Wild Mouse with a Napoleon complex. The Erector Set nature of this ride is exemplfied by the rolling stock, which looks like it was designed to hold Weeble Wobbles and is just waiting for another pod to be added to that wheelset jutting out in front. Unlike the trains on the Looping Coaster just south on Funtown Pier, these may actually double as a flotation device should the coaster topple into the Atlantic. Its a roller coaster, so Im bound to have some sort of postive feelings for it, but for those of us who knew and loved its predecessor, Star Jet can be little more than a bitter reminder of what once was.

A better than average portable coaster. You get air on both the first two drops and more air on the little hills throughout. also a tight turn (like on a mouse) that makes it feels a little out of control.

Meh - your average portable steelie, nothing much to recommend it. However, in the absence of any other running coasters, its worth a ride. Two of the dips are very nice and steep, and rolling along the ocean is great fun. But its over with too quickly, and youre left wanting more.

Star Jet? Jet Star? They should make a new one called the Jtar Set. ANNNYYWAYYY I enjoyed the first drop of this ride because the girl I rode it with screamed and I was like oh youre scared? Let me hold you. haha but thats really a good reason to like a ride.... or is it. I give it a 6.
