Small, but packs a punch. Great ride.

A small tower but provides a very nice ride for its size

The launches have a lot of power. The drops are awesome. All together it seems like a short ride, but the ride is real intense over that short period.

Damn, this is intense. Despite being half the size of Scream, it kicks Screams ass. The launch is very strong and the air at the top is absolutely insane.

One of the best double shots Ive been on. The theming was very good and loading was pretty quick. This one also had a pretty good launch and there was some excellent ejector air at the top. The two drops also provided a decent stomach dropping sensation.

The starblaster was the first ride of its kind i have ridden precedding Dr. Dooms freefall at Universal Orlando and i must say it was pretty forcefull and although Dr. Dooms was much larger the starblaster was much better. On the ride i felt like my internal organs were going up and down inside of me. This got amazing airtime although i wish it was a little longer. It was worth the 20 minute wait though

This drop tower is only 80 feet tall (due to some height restriction Canobie has in place), but not a bad ride considering. It shoots you up and drops you down as far as it can, and not all towers due both.

APPEARANCE: Very well themed drop tower. From the various space vehicles around the ride to the space-themed operating booth, Canobie themed the area around the ride nicely. Also, the ride is very clean and looks great.

WAIT TIME: 15-20 minutes- Hey for a ride that seats only 12 riders per cycle its not that bad. Also, Canobie does all they can by pre-assigning seats before bording to eliminate confusion and also by loading the ride extremely quickly. The ride is extremely short as well and that certainly helps cut down on the wait.

RIDE: While not sudden, the launch is certainly powerful and really piles on the Gs and it seems much faster than it really is. Also, at the top of both launches is extreme ejector air to go along with great views of Canobie Lake if you get the right seat. The ride is short though like all double shots.

FINAL VERDICT: I love drop towers and this one is no different and definitely the best double shot Ive been on. After the Yankee Cannonball, this is my favorite ride at Canobie and its definitely a must ride for thrill seekers while there.

Good addition to the park. The airtime at the top is some of the best airtime Ive experienced anywhere. Worthy of several re-rides and just a lot of fun.
