As far as car rides go, Cedar Points Antique Cars are one of the best sets I have ridden. The setting back in the old fashioned Frontier Town area of the park is simply perfect. The front of the ride (where you board the car) is a nice older looking facade, which is a nice touch. The cars look pristine, and really add to that antique flavor of the ride. Where this car ride scores huge points is with its wonderfully scenic course. It is fairly long, and it beautifully winds through an area blanketed with tall trees, providing a shaded escape from the summer heat. The course is also lined nicely with some older lamp posts, which at night add to the ride. At one point you even pass over a small stream/pond via a covered bridge, which is a really cool effect for a little ride like this. All in all, Antique Cars is a wonderful car ride that is a peaceful and relaxing break from the many thrills the park has to offer. It has that great nostalgic feel to it, which adds to the fun, and its a perfect family ride for adults and kids to enjoy together!
Nice antique cars. Good for the kids.
Very relaxing, and a blast to drive in the rain. Also fun as the geese typically meander their way in front of your car, or at least last time I visited a couple did so. A nice, classic attraction that, if lines are short, is definately worth your time.
Many people will give this a rating in the four-seven range because all it is is a car ride. However, Id like to not grade it on what it is, but how well it preforms giving the limitations of what it is. If youre talking about car rides in general, you would probably rate them a five. But this car ride, recognizable from an individual one, is fun and not as short as similar ones. It also passes scenic rivers, a covered bridge and a duck pond with real ducks. Grading it on the fact that it is only up against other car rides and not in the same comeptitions as the coasters, this deserves an 8.
This ride, like the mine train is mostly nastolgia (spelling?) It reminds me of when I was young and couldnt drive. I thought these were the greatest things in the world. Like axman said, it gives a good view of raptor. I like to jam on the brakes about halfway through the ride. The people behind will bump into me. Ill act ticked off and drive away. Its funny to see the looks on their faces! I know its immature. Its just really fun.
Nice for the kids to take a chance to drive without a licence, and the set-up isnt bad, but it isnt the most thrilling thing in the world.
Antique Cars is a track guided ride. It is average spped, it has a large capacity, and a long duration. It has nice scenery also. It is a good family ride for any age group.
Best theming on a car ride ive ever been on. The bridges u went under were pretty neat. I kept bumping into the ppl in front of me though. I think they were kinda mad at me lol but it was fun! Great ride to try out when you need a break from all the roller coasters!
Nice way to take a break at CP. Great scenery around this ride
I enjoy most car rides other than that festering pile of poo at magic kingdom. Nice layout but this one seemed like it used to be better.
