I know Im in the minority here, but I actually found this to be a pretty good ride. Sure Killimanjaro Safaris is better, but this was good for what it is. My wait time was pretty bad though for this, but once I got on I was made the navigator so that was cool. The theming around the ride was quite good and the river portion was really cool for me. Also, being the navigator, I really liked how I actually played a part in the ride and it really made the ride funner for me. While an interesting concept and a fun ride, it does have long lines and Busch Gardens has bigger fish to fry in my opinion.

there are not enough animals, the ride is too short, half the time its not even working, and the lines are extremely long outside in the sun.

This is probably the lowest rating I have ever givin a ride. The park was not busy, we walked right up to the loading platform and waited at least twenty minutes for the car to come get us. The actual water part of it is extremely boring. The technology is cool, but is far from exciting. The only thing I find really cool about this ride is that the staff actually drive the cars. I had a pretty good tour guide so even with the boring ride, it wasnt all too bad.

This wasnt anything like I thought it would be (I guess the early renderings of the ride and ideas made it seem bigger then it really is), which was more of a ride with larger water/ flash flood effects and what not, but its just a small safari type ride with some drivers that seemed like they were having some fun. Not that much to it though and didnt see alot either.

I was not greatly impressed with Rhino Rally. Just like any animal exhibit, you never know what animals you are going to see. Unfortunately, I barely saw anything. But even if I did, the ride moves so quick, you wouldnt get to enjoy it. The water part is so-so. Our driver must have been having a bad day, because he was pretty much just mailing in the delivery.

I thought this ride was a lot of fun, with some great corny jokes, and some good visuals. There werent a lot of animals throughout the course, but what was there was good. The drivers we had [we went on twice] were very enthusiastic, and made the ride a lot more enjoyable. Ive heard about the terrible load times and waits for this ride, however I didnt experience it, as we got two rides without waiting more than five minutes. The park was empty that day, though, so I cant be a fair judge. The raft part was amusing, and the entire design and thought process behind the ride is very interesting. Definately worth a ride, but if the load times are as bad as Im told, then it might not be if there is a huge line.

Even though I liked this ride, I am going to have to give it a lower rating. I like the water raft part, that was a unique aspect of the ride. Plus, I was the navigator so that was kind of fun. However, there were definately some points that when I am reviewing I need to point out. First of all, loading and unloading. So very slow. We waiting at least a half an hour to ride and there were only 2 cars ahead of us. They just dont move that fast and their capacity is very small. The next thing is the lack of animals and exhibit design. There werent many animals on this ride. There were some and I saw them, but not many. Also, the exhibit is definately showing its age. You can see a feeding area, barriers, and other older exhibit designs. I dont think this is something that needs to be "updated" just because the ride is older it shows some of the classic zoo designs. I also thought that the ride lacked some story line, and the ending was very abrupt. Seemed anti-climatic. I would definately ride, if the line is not long, if not keep trying to see if you can find a not so busy time of the day.

Its worth an eight because of the raft you ride on at the end. It would be better if you got to see animals on the raft part. Its a good ride with some close ups of animals.

While I wouldnt ride this ride again if it had a long line, I did find it entertaining and thought the concept fit well with busch gardens.
It is definitely worth the try for the first time, and not worth the rating that is currently on this site. I give it an 8 for originality and entertainment value.
