I went to SFNO in hopes of finding and absolutely awesome woodie. I really feel I didnt. The trains track horribly creating some of the bust bizarre and painful sahking in the turns. The layout is fantastic, but the trains realy are the death of this possibly good coaster.

Because I have a season pass I get to Six Flags New Orleans at least once sometimes twice a week. This is my favorite ride at this particular park. It doesnt let up for a second. I pretty much go there to ride Megazeph, Batman, and the Muskrat Scrambler. This is the only wooden coaster that is in this area of Louisiana since they demolished the Zephyr back in 1983, which was also an exciting ride.

WOW! This is exactly what a wooden coaster should be and more. The ride is long, fast, rough, and full of air, with a great combination of steep drops and laterals. The first drop is amazing, and sitting in the front seat its kinda creepy as the lift slow to almost a complete stop before the ride plummets. The drop containing the on-ride photo is wonderful long and step, and its the best drop on the ride. The turn over Jazz Lake is insanely full on laterals, and the return trip is great with all the hills, but watch out for the break on the double-up! The ending helix is a perfect finale.

I liked this ride. It was allright and I absolutely ADORED the speed of this coaster. The reason why I gave it a six was because of the Trick-Track thing and the bumpiness( my head was everywhere, haha). I loved the turn-a-round, though because of the view of the water and everything else! overall, It was O.K.!!!

Jazzland-I love this coaster. It isnt all about size but the ride is incredible. I loved the bunny hops. There is also the surprise tosser piece in the track where it throws riders one way but goes the opposite direction. I think it is called "trick track". It was a fun ride. Another interesting fact is that it isnt all wood. This is one of the most understated coaster in the world. If your even in Louisiana, you should check this ride out.

Awesome wooden coaster, but you have to watch those gerstlauer cars! The back row of each train tends to vibrate a bit. Even as it turns 3 years old it has not let up at all. This coaster has some great elements in it such as a swooping turnaround over the lake and a powerful double up that creates some extreme ejection airtime.

I also have to admitt, Six Flags New Orleans is my home park. I think the MegaZeph is one of the greatest wooden coasters in the World. The first drop is great. I really love the turnaround on the lake. Its also one of the fastest woodies out there today.

The Mega Zeph has gone into despair. When I was finally tall enough to ride, my brother and IU found that it was rough. I hope they can fix it up because it was truly an incredible ride when it first opened.

MegaZeph, Is one Woodie That I would tell any Thrill Seaker to get on and ride. This Coaster Offers a drop that goes 109 feet. Its not the tallest drop but its a really good drop. 2nd thing is the Speed. it says it goes 57 mph. but out of all the wooden coasters I have rode the MegaZeph has been the Fastest. its so fast that it Sounds like its jumping the track several times and really gives you a Heart Pounding ride. If your ever down in New Orleans Dont Miss this Ride
